Nomenclature

Le nom scientifique Crax fasciolata a été décrit par Spix en 1825.

Notes taxonomiques (IUCN) : Crax fasciolata and C. pinima (del Hoyo and Collar 2014) were previously lumped as C. fasciolata following Sibley and Monroe (1990, 1993).
