Swallow-tailed Bee-eater adult
It prefers wooded country. It feeds on insects, bees of course, and wasps caught in the air. They nest in small colonies, in a long burrow in sandy banks.
Cet oiseau a une préférence pour les bois, où il se nourrit d'insectes, d'abeilles évidemment, et de guêpes attrapées au vol.
Il niche en petites colonies, dans un profond terrier creusé dans les talus sableux.
