Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden (Roodepoort). Small birds feeding on seeds. They breed in colonies, in reed beds, sometimes in crops, and are associated with water. They live in grasslands and savannahs, near water. Common and widespread, they are highly gregarious. Petits oiseaux se nourrissant de graines. Ils nichent en colonies, dans les roselières, parfois dans les cultures, et sont associés à l'eau. Ils vivent dans les zones herbeuses et les savanes. Communs et largement répandus, ils sont très grégaires.
