Common species living in dry thornveld and broad-leaved woodlands. They weave only one massive nest for the entire colony, occupied by up to 100 families. Espèce commune vivant dans les steppes épineuses et les forêts de feuillus. Ils tissent un seul nid très volumineux pour la colonie tout entière, qui peut être occupé par une centaine de familles.
